Forty six years ago, television history was made when CBS debuted ’60 Minutes’. Below, we see the slate for that first broadcast and at the link above, we have a great farewell to Mike Wallace.

    Not too long ago, You Tube had a couple of nearly complete 1968-69 episodes of 60 Minutes that someone had posted that clearly weren’t from CBS’ Archives. I’ll track them down and post the links.

    I remember that studio back in the 70’s and 80’s. Lighting used to use a blow up sex doll on a chair to adjust lighting.

    I know that back in the day, the segments were shot in 16mm and edited on (I think were) steenbeck.
