A Fascinating History Of Video Tape And Editing Milestones

    I’ve been trying to figure out the sudden appearance of quick-edit shows like Laugh-In, Hee Haw, and Sesame Street in relation to tech developments, but haven’t found a direct answer. It’s as if the style came first, then the tech evolved to make the style easier to accomplish.

    I’m sure Laugh-In wasn’t the first edited videotape show, but it certainly was the most defined by tape editing.
