A Kukla, Fran and Ollie Surprise
In yesterday’s photo, you could not see the band, or the real surprise…a Zoomar Super Field lens at work in the studio. This is the only production I’ve ever seen that uses this 27 element lens inside.
I don’t think you’d want to do anything with Fran today, Ricky. 😉
Probably wanting a LONG lens to avoid perspective distortion is doing what amounts to an extreme close up on the Puppet. But with a small F-number the Camera would have had to have it’s sensitivity cranked up. (I would guess)
I’d like to ‘kukla’ Fran………..
How they could use that Field Zoomar inside with scoop lights is a mystery to me? It has 27 elements and even using it outside in the direct sun was tough! The video engineer must be blind by now!
