Flying By The Seat Of Her Pants…Almost
Before mounting the Chapman Electra stage crane for another round of ‘Family Feud’, our friend Donna Quante ‘checks the oil’ on her Norelco PC70. Very nice shot and we thank Donna for it, and many others. Do you have pix to share?
Directing _Family Feud_ must have been a lot different than directing _To Tell The Truth_ for Paul Alter.
I sytill have a 4.5″ I.O. from a RCA TK-41
I also did camera on Fued…. On the stage, 2 Norelco camera’s mounted on Chapman Sidewinders were used, as well as 3 cameras on peds in back of the audience.. Richard Dawson wanted the studio temp so cold, we mounted penguins on the cameras…..
More ABC Prospect photos please!
Chuck I still have an optics chain from one of those when they were decommissioned. All the dichroics and prisms. Must be 15_20 pieces.
Thanks for the nice shot of Donna.
I am probably asking Donna to adjust the red “LF” pot on the pre amp. This was C-1 used on the audience left side of the stage for shots of the family on the right side of the stage. I did so many of these shows I lost count. We used to shoot 5 shows a day, 4 days a week, every other week in Studio 54. Donna was a great camera “lady”. She now lives in Alaska and raises sled dogs.
