    Carol and the gang did sketches, but there was one recurring series of those that had Carol playing Eunice, Harvey as Ed, and Vicki Lawrence as Mama. The “Mama” character was spun off into its own sitcom in the 1980’s, “Mama’s Family”.

    That is one of the most hysterical episodes in television sit-com history. I love it and fall over laughing just about every time I see it. Thanks for sharing. Several Carol Burnette shows are in that class, too, but those sketches were not actually sit-coms, are they? (Tim Conway as the dentist with Harvey Korman; Carol as Scarlett O’Hara).
