One Side Up…Three More To Go At 30 Rock
In September the old GE signs at 30 Rock finally came down. Thanks to our friend Alan Coffield, here’s a picture of one side of the building’s new top hat, complete with a peacock logo. Both the north and south sides get this treatment and the east and west faces will get the peacock only…hopefully in color. Enjoy and share! -Bobby Ellerbee
Yuk!
It will always be the RCA building to me, just like the Met Life Building will always be the Pan AM Building to me.
Don’t complain about Comcast too much. They’ll contact your employer and get you fired.
I like the post. Not so sure that I like the combo!
We’re going to see that on TV shows for the rest of our lives. I can see the sweeping shots now or at least until someone buys Comcast out.
That will ruin that great facade.
Should be this.
From RCA to GE to Comcast I’ve been doing this too long 🙂
Everything changes and not necessarily for the best! Have you seen what is being done with KTLA?
Note: The east side is the ‘front’ of the building and faces the skating rink. I don’t think there ever was a giant logo of any kind on that side.
I like NBC, Comcast…not so much.
Nice, but I associate Comcast with marginal cable TV service.
They misspelled it…should be COMCRAP!
Aren’t they supposed to say, “Cabletown?”
