Wasn’t this car used many times for the show “Monitor?”
Too long ago to fully remember all the facts. During the NYC School Teachers strike in 1967, I was assigned to either this unit or the Checker. I had a portable camera for coverage of the strike’s settlement announcement. I can’t remember if the camera was color or B&W. From what I recall, there were two of us assigned–one to operate the car’s equipment and I handled the camera with no communication back to the control room–0nly 46 years ago, how time passes us by!
I used to own the generator that was in the trunk!
The microwave link will not work very well without a dish!
