To me, the best examples of the great pictures the TK41 made are captured on The Andy Williams Christmas Specials on NBC. This is my second favorite clip of their great color. Wait till you see my favorite which is up next! Enjoy and share! -Bobby Ellerbee
Interesting to see the blooper with the title card there at 2:50. By the 60’s, the show had to be on tape by then and you’d think they’d have done a pickup.

Great restoration on these shows. From the look, I would guess late TK41 technology. Any idea as to the date of this clip?
All RCA color cameras, right up thru the TK47, had beautiful colorimetry and matrixing, especially compared to the Marconis and Ikegami’s of the same era. Too bad they were so high maintenance.
I was a child when these specials aired and watched them with my parents. Even at that young age, I was captivated by the sets, the movement, the music and the artistry. Still love watching these.
