Actress Noel Neill, the First Lois Lane of the Screen, Dies at 95

She starred as the intrepid Daily Planet newspaper reporter in 1948 and ’50 movie serials and in TV’s ‘Adventures of Superman.’

    I wanted to teach her how to treat people. She was allowed some of the cruelest dialogue with Clark Kent, made remarks about his manhood (the concept, not the meat), insulted him like he was less than worthy, and, dammit, she never once noticed that he and Superman were dead-ringers for each other!!!
