I was film coordinator at the ABC TV NY NETWORK NEWS SPECIAL EVENTS DEPARTMENT. I worked with Jules Bergman and covered many of the space shots and funerals of notables as well as being in the united nations abc remote truck during the 1967 Arab-Israeli wars. I was there from 1966 thru 1968 and went back to be with Wally Pfister and my old Special events crew for the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. I was in the master control room for that awesome American accomplishment. Also present was Bob Rogow, Sylvia Siskin, Bruce Carrol and others. I have many stories to tell if anyone’s interested! During a NABET strike I got to live out my childhood dream of being a TV camera person. They operated one of the big broadcast cameras on dark shadows, the Virginia Graham show, ABC Wide World of Sports with Howard Cosell, and several of the evening news programs from the hotel on W.67st. There was a tunnel under 67th street connecting the studio with those at 66th st. I was there for the 1968 presidential election coverage with Frank Reynolds and Howard K Smith (in Washington).
