Classic! ‘Sammy Davis Jr. Show’ With TK41s
From NBC Brooklyn, here’s a clip from April 26, 1966 that opens with Sammy in front of a crane mounted RCA TK41. Behind the camera is NBC veteran Frank Gaeta.

from April 22, 1966. thanks to fromthesidelines and wmbrown6 for the great comments and info on this clip.
Notable credits: Buz Kohan, writer of many memorable music/variety shows and Walter Miller, TD. Wondering if this is Walter C. Miller?
I’m looking at the TK41’s camera cable or is it cables?
Pretty special … Oh those early days of Broadcast TV…
Of course, William B. Williams was the WNEW-AM New York DJ who gave the nickname “Chairman of the Board” to his friend Frank Sinatra, so he was probably tight with all the other members of The Clan (Frank hated the name Rat Pack, btw). Thus, he gets to provide a VO, including a credit for himself, that any NBC staffer could have delivered
Always enjoyed the credits!
How many people, like me, thought Christmas had come if we actually got to see a TV camera on a show?
