Larry Wilmore’s ‘Nightly Show’ Cancelled at Comedy Central
“The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore” will call it a day after Thursday’s episode. Comedy Central has canceled the half-hour series that replaced “The Colbert Report” on Jan. 19, 2015, making…
Never watched it so won’t miss it. Had the sense I wouldn’t care for it anyway.
Whaaaat?

A good show, but this isn’t at all surprising. What is surprising to me is that Comedy Central restated its faith in Jon Stewart’s successor at “The Daily Show,” Trevor Noah, when he’s probably been the larger disappointment.
Not a surprise, I wasn’t watching it, I barely have time for the Daily Show now or Late Nite with Stephane Colbert.
Good riddance
He could wind up on HBO back to back with Bill Maher.
It’s been a very good show, I thought. Could Wilmore’s decidedly mixed reception at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner back in April have damaged the brand?
Good. More need to go.
Never heard of it.
Wilmore is really good. I hope he finds another show to display his talents. I know he won’t be hurting for work behind the scenes, but he does have a distinctive voice. Face it, it was very disruptive at Comedy Central to lose legends Stewart and Colbert at the same time. And, as much as I like Trevor, I’ll bet he’s attracting millennials but the older audience has moved on.
Too bad! This show is great
Damn
My wife and I watch this every night, but I am way passed the “target demo.” It’s the freshest, sharpest, funniest political show on TV. Mike Yard is a gem. I will miss this show. I wish they could have let it stay on until after the election.
