Short But Sweet…RCA TK41 & Norelco PC 70 In New York
Given that NBC bought 35 Norelcos of their mobile units in 1967, I suspect this is about ’68 or ’69. This 20 second clip seems to be on the steps of a church at a press event in NYC…possibly a wedding, a draft dodger seeking sanctuary or a civil rights event. Anyone know? Thanks to our friend in Australia, Troy Walters for sharing. Troy and others have some interesting items in the “Recent Posts By Others” section of this page. Check it out.

The cameraman behind the Norelco is Buddy Joseph.
Facebook needs a “Love” button!
Augenuex sold a lot of lenses with the PC70
This may have been the coverage of RFK’s viewing/funeral at Saint Patricks Cathedral (?) in the summer of 1968 although there were thousands lined up to get in.
I’d bet RFK funeral as well.
Don’t know the event cut Buddy Joseph is the cameraman
Very cool shots of those great cameras!
I am thinking June 1968, in front of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, when Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated.
The pathe site has lots archived there
I particularly appreciate that this clip was shot on FILM!
