This is a must see for all of us that love television history. This debut episode that aired in 2014 is all about our favorite subject…television!
Many thanks to CNN and Executive Producer Tom Hanks and his Playtone production company for yet another amazing piece of historical television.
There was a documentary, probably the best ever made & most entertaining, called, “1968; a crack in time” which was a combination of show biz & News!
…some interesting portions of cameras ..some TK-30 / 31’s with long lens’ ..field ZOOMARS at about 2:00+ in and some unrecognizable camera that says GRANVILLE on it ..it might be a PYE, then about 26:18 a shoulder camera with a spaghetti NBC logo on it, looks like it says Ikegami on it ..any confirmations from TV camera fans ? ?
What irritates me is they (and others) force f on 4×3 content. Put up a pillar box. this goes back to synthesized stereo in the 80s and colorized movies and shows as well. I will say, though, colorization had improved evident of the I love Lucy episode a short time ago.
