Vertigo Alert…A View From The Top
I don’t care how much money you offer…I wouldn’t go here! The crews that work on this antenna atop The Empire State Building have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. Several people have asked to see this again, so here you go. By the way, this is the site of the first television antenna. I think NBC put it up in 1938. Enjoy and share! -Bobby Ellerbee
No way.
..The man on the right is Tom Silliman the owner of ERI…
Weren’t Native Americans among the first to walk the beams…the NE tribes???
I dislike gravity.
I you freeze up will the fire department save you here? Parachutes might be cumbersome and dangerous.
Is that Gorilla scat?
plus there is the risk of a tingle if the transmitter was left on.
Jodie Peeler u have a GREAT SOH !
Absolutely no way!!! He’ll no…
Reminds me of the day Walden Kirsch and I did a shoot at the top of KGW’s tower, won’t ever forget how much it moved in the wind….
It’s the business end of the business, and somebody has to do it. Pity tho, as there are fewer who will train and qualify for this kind of work, regardless of money. You need to be young, in good physical shape, fearless, and sober! I used to do this kind of work cheerfully, but not any more as the clock has caught up to me. B|
I would definitely be the one who would be taking the picture.
This is a shoot for Todd Sonflieth, “the heights guy”.
I’d say the person who took this has THE most dangerous job.
Guy on left: “Don’t drop the lockwasher.” Guy on right: “What lockwasher?”
Whoops!
That’s balls.
And somebody took this picture. Even higher.
This would require a change of Underware…..
What do you mean you left the replacement part back in the shop?
*runs away screaming*
Hell of a place to lose your keys..
Not for love or money
You would have to pay me 10 million plus have all the safety equipment already installed before i would even say yes
That makes two of us. 😀
