One of my favorite SNL moments with Williams was during the 4/11/81 show after Dick Ebersol took over before the Writer’s Guild strike….Chevy Chase is joined on stage by Williams and Christopher Reeve and starts bragging about how the show is getting better. Reeve and Williams pretty much disagree and walk off, leaving Chase alone.
