This is from the same theater that NBC used for the Hollywood broadcasts of ‘The Colgate Comedy Hour’…The El Capitan Theater on Vine Street. The event was the 1952 Olympic Telethon to raise money for the teams to travel. It was hosted by Hope and Crosby, BUT…Bing would not appear on stage with Lewis!
