Tonight is Oscar Night!
A year of planning comes together into tonight’s three hour show, but here’s a look at the second by second work that goes on in the truck. This great clip from 2009 shows us how the pros do it!

I would have loved to see a PIP of the live production over the footage of the director calling the show just to see how close the cues were.
It is amazing the amount of timing by all to make the T.V. clip flawless.

This was the 69th Academy Awards show broadcast March 24, 1997.
Love it. I wish we would have done something like that during the 17 years I worked on that show. Does anyone have any behind the scenes video from the old ABC Oscar shows? I do have some old photos and will post the when I find them.
