Joel Spector, 50 Year NBC Audio Pro (Ret.)

Eyes of a Generation lives up to its name – and then some. I’ve been in professional broadcasting since 1965, when I spent the first of two summers as a Vacation Relief audio editor at NBC Radio in New York.  That was many years after visiting as many TV and Radio studios as possible along with my best friend. Those two summers turned into a 50-year career with NBC TV as well as free-lance audio gigs. Bobby has carefully documented the history of these facilities, as well as the many pioneers of engineering and production who put the programs on the air. I was also privileged to contribute to the EOAG detailed history of the NBC Studios in New York. The site is invaluable to newcomers and veterans alike.
