    The documentary featurette itself is almost a decade ago, from a time when Warner and other studios still sold enough discs to support this kind of work.

    Go out and buy the Bluray 4K restoration of this movie. The technical revelations are amazing. As is the case with many pictures of this era, they almost never got made. The bonus materials are almost more interesting than the movie itself. This was released on Aug 25, 1939 and Gone with the Wind Jan 17, 1940. Victor Fleming was a director on each. The full story of the production of OZ is fascinating.
